Arkadelphia's Source for quality yarn, fiber, accessories, and gifts!
Knit Unto Others is a retail needlework shop specializing in knitting and crocheting, now with spinning, weaving, and needle felting products. We have also expanded our gift section with gifts for all ages. We offer a wide variety of yarns and accessories and specialize in Fair Trade, American made, and ethically sourced yarns and products. Beginning knitting lessons are free with purchase of yarn, and all are welcome. The coffee is always on, and the company is always friendly. We recently moved to 628 Main Street. It's a different layout, but still the same cozy atmosphere.

Check out our schedule of 2024 Upcoming Classes - all classes are held from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Review classes are usually held two weeks later when you can get project support or take the class if you missed it previously.
- Because we are getting ready for the Yarn Crawl, there are no classes in July. Our next class is Crochet in the Round taking place Saturday, August 17th, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Learn from expert crocheter Maggie Griscom, who also taught the last crochet class.
- Our stranded knitting class was a huge success. We made this hat based off of Abby's Ombre Hat. It isn't too late to learn. The class is $35 and includes yarn. Call or come by for more information.
"Drawing inspiration from a quote by Maya Angelou, my wish is for all knitters to embrace the courage to trust the process, time and time again. Knitting a pattern can often feel like a trust fall—a leap of faith into each stitch, trusting in the accuracy of instructions, and in your own creative abilities." (Jessica Ays)
FEATURED products
Yarn of the month - Summer Sesame by Berroco. Usually in summer, we are already talking winter yarns and patterns. We had to do this yarn, though, as a shop favorite/yarn of the month - Summer Sesame. 295 yards of bright, happy shades of colors that ebb and flow to make this light worsted weight yarn a perfect summer choice. This cotton blend yarn is light to the touch, easy to work with, and self striping. Make an old favorite like Age of Brass and Steam by Orange Flower Yarn or this fun Sampler Cowl by Berroco Yarn. Get 25% off Summer Sesame during the month of July.
