​Knit Unto Others is a retail needlework shop specializing in knitting and crocheting, now with spinning, weaving, and needle felting products.  We have also expanded our gift section with gifts for all ages.  We offer a wide variety of yarns and accessories and specialize in Fair Trade, American made, and ethically sourced yarns and products.  Beginning knitting lessons are free with purchase of yarn, and all are welcome. The coffee is always on, and the company is always friendly.  We look forward to seeing you!

  • Weaving (and Spinning) Wednesdays - Every Wednesday from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM (All weaver and spinners welcome as well as all those who would like to learn)
  • Sit and Knit - Every Thursday starting at 1:00 PM
  • Beginning Knitting/Knitter Support - Dedicated beginning knitting classes/support classes every second and fourth Saturdays of the month.  We are happy to teach anyone who wants to learn how to knit on their schedule who cannot come on these specific days.

Twice Sheared Sheep Trunk Show:  Have you ever wished for that perfect accessory or, like me, thought an accessory was very cool but had no clue how to use it?  At the Twice Sheared Sheep Trunk Show, we have all the accessories you could want as well as instructions on their usage.  I'm pretty sure I said, "That's how that works!" at least three times.  From row counters to measuring tapes, from tins to dividers for them, from quick gauges to quick sock rulers and much more, you can find just what you need or just what you never knew you needed.  The trunk show only lasts through May 11th, so come in soon.
Gnomes, gnomes, gnomes!  Okay.  So I said we would be knitting gnomes in March, but I was wrong.  We were going to do it in April, but that didn't work out either.  We are now doing it Saturday, May 3rd, at 11:00 AM with the follow-up class Thursday, May 8th, at 1:00 PM.  The class, led by Jackie Daniel, is $30 and includes the pattern.  Bring your own yarn and needles - you can use any size yarn and change the size of your gnome.  Come knit gnomes with us and have an e-gnome-ously good time!
