​Knit Unto Others is a retail needlework shop specializing in knitting and crocheting, now with spinning, weaving, and needle felting products.  We have also expanded our gift section with gifts for all ages.  We offer a wide variety of yarns and accessories and specialize in Fair Trade, American made, and ethically sourced yarns and products.  Beginning knitting lessons are free with purchase of yarn, and all are welcome. The coffee is always on, and the company is always friendly.  We look forward to seeing you!

REOCCURRING

  • Weaving (and Spinning) Wednesdays - Every Wednesday from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM (All weaver and spinners welcome as well as all those who would like to learn)
  • Sit and Knit - Every Thursday starting at 1:00 PM
  • Beginning Knitting/Knitter Support - Dedicated beginning knitting classes/support classes every second and fourth Saturdays of the month.  We are happy to teach anyone who wants to learn how to knit on their schedule who cannot come on these specific days.

Gnomes, gnomes, gnomes!  Who doesn't love gnomes? (Except, apparently, goblins, trolls, orcs, snakes, wolves, giant spiders, bats, ice hornets, evil witches, lizardfolk, kobolds, etc.)  Fortunately, there aren't any of those things at Knit Unto Others.  I could be wrong, but I don't think I am.  Anyway, in March we will be knitting gnomes!  
Easter Basket:  Easter isn't until April, but that just means you have plenty of time to stock up on Easter basket gifts.  From knitting and crochet kits to knitting and crochet books, with fun and unique gifts along the way, 
Sweater Knitalong/Support:  We are still working on our KAL - Flax from Tin Can Knits.  Flax is a highly customizable unisex sweater with sizes from 0-6 months up to 6X using finger to worsted weight yarn.  With step-by-step instructions from Tin Can Knits, Flax will be a breeze to knit - even if it's your first sweater.  In addition to exceptional tutorials from Tin Can Knits, we will be here to give project support as well.  You can find the pattern for Flax, along wither other free patterns, at tincanknits.com/patterns/free.
