Arkadelphia's Source for quality yarn, fiber, accessories, and gifts!
Knit Unto Others is a retail needlework shop specializing in knitting and crocheting, now with spinning, weaving, and needle felting products. We have also expanded our gift section with gifts for all ages. We offer a wide variety of yarns and accessories and specialize in Fair Trade, American made, and ethically sourced yarns and products. Beginning knitting lessons are free with purchase of yarn, and all are welcome. The coffee is always on, and the company is always friendly. We are now at 628 Main Street. It's a different layout, but still the same cozy atmosphere. We have been without phone for a while and finally got a new one with a new phone number. Our new number is 870-464-1004.
We look forward to seeing you!

Yarn Adventure Truck: If you missed the Yarn Adventure Truck last time, the good news is Katy will be back Saturday, November 23rd, from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM. Not only that, she will be teaching a class called Sweater Math at 11:00 AM. The class is only $10. No supplies are needed.
Arkadelphia Holiday Open House: The Annual Holiday Open House is Sunday, November 24th. Knit Unto Others will be open from Noon-4:00 PM with holiday gifts, sales, and fun. Come drink some hot chocolate with us and get unique gift items for everyone on your list at the Holiday Open House.
Yarnsgiving - A New Tradition: As the holiday season approaches, we hope you will participate with us in Yarnsgiving, a effort among the Craft Yarn Council along with its members and partners to promote crafting and giving with yarn. Yarnsgiving will run through Giving Tuesday on December 3rd.
Whether you give to friends, family, or charitable causes, the idea is making things with yarn and giving to others. Yarnsgiving has a wide array of projects suitable for gifting during the holiday season. Share your creations on social media using the hashtag #Yarnsgiving.

Sale of the Month: Just in time for Christmas knitting, Cestari yarn is warm and wooly and perfect for hats or ear warmers to wear during those early morning runs or late night football games. Cestari comes in different weights and fibers and all of them are 40% off.
Product of the Month: Get in on the needle felting fun! Make a decorative wall hanging, beautiful ornaments, or cute critters. We used one of the bumper kits (Creatures and Christmas) for a needle felting class, and I was surprised at how much material was included. Not only could you make all the projects listed, there was enough to make at least one more of everything.
Yarn of the Month: Snowflake by Lang makes up into one of the quickest and cutest hats ever. Super easy - uses a basic hat pattern of knit/purl ribbing before going into straight knitting. Since the yarn makes the pattern, you can do a crochet hat or cowl just as easy.
Patterns of the Month: In keeping with the holiday season and the apparent theme of hats, I chose two baby hat patterns for the Patterns of the Month. The first one is the Baby Turkey Hat by Rachel Howser, a free pattern on Ravelry. The legs might be a bit tricky, but it sure is cute.
Next us is the crocheted Turkey Hat by Erangi Udeshika, another free pattern on Ravelry. I don't know about you, but I think this is one of the sweetest looking turkeys I've ever seen. While it was written for toddler size, you can click here to find a free tutorial on how to crochet a hat in any size.
